Virtual Community Forums

About the Virtual Community Forums

Two community forums have been created to elevate the voices and needs of low-income families of color and to make authentic connections with educators and education leaders. We are creating these spaces for families that have been stretched beyond their capacity, due to COVID-19, to share their experience, their thoughts, their needs, and their overall feedback and potential solutions to collectively support the academic success of all children. This virtual event has been divided into a two-part series so that we can dive deeply into what worked and didn’t work in August and September, and to explore solutions  as a community  as we get ready for the winter/spring 2021 semester. Interpretation in Spanish will be provided.
