Position Overview:
FIS seeks a dedicated and team-oriented professional who is passionate about parent engagement and is interested in supporting the
mission, vision, and ongoing development of the organization. The Strategic Partnership Manager will report to the Director of
Programs and will lead the development and cultivation of partnerships with districts, schools, and nonprofits for the delivery of FIS
programs and services. FIS expects the Manager to support the organization’s revenue growth via earn-income and fee for service
strategies. A key role of the Manager is to articulate the FIS experience – the agency’s value-added – and to leverage their existing
contacts and cultivate new partnerships with partners interested in working with FIS. The Manager will serve as a strategic thought
partner within the executive team and will work directly with the Director of Programs and President to achieve the organization’s
fundraising goals. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the President & CEO;

This is a great position for an entrepreneurial professional with demonstrated experience in marketing, business development capable
of achieving aggressive fundraising goals and growing an organization’s revenue portfolio. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s
degree and 5-7 years of experience. An advanced degree is preferred.
 A degree/qualification, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a related field
 Experience working with schools and school districts
 Experience developing and implementing marketing and branding initiatives
 Experience leading marketing events
 Exceptional people skills and the ability to build trust among staff, senior management, the FIS board and external partners.
 A team-player who can build a sense of community among staff and partners in supporting the mission and vision of FIS.
 Experience working with a diverse fundraising portfolio
 Superb writing skills requiring minimal edits and supervision
 Ability to convey ideas and communicate concepts in writing with clarity and accuracy
 Experience managing staff, internal systems and grant-making processes
 Social media savvy with experience integrating new technologies and social media platforms
 High degree of flexibility with an ability to make recommendations and gain buy-in to advance agency goals
 Excellent listening and public speaking skills
 Commitment to collaboration, teamwork, and accountability to oneself and others
 Culturally competent with the ability to seamlessly adapt in multicultural, multi-ethnic environments
 Willingness to work weekends and evenings, and travel as necessary
 Access to a car, possession of a valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance
 Bilingual in English and Spanish is desirable
