What We Look For

FIS seeks professionals dedicated to educational reform and parent engagement interested in supporting the mission, vision, and ongoing development of the organization.

Families In Schools (FIS) is a nonprofit organization based in downtown Los Angeles, California, whose mission is to involve parents and communities in their children’s education to achieve lifelong success. FIS views the engagement of parents as a component essential in school reform.

Applying

Once you apply for a job, your qualifications and experience will be reviewed by one of our Department Directors. If you are a possible match for the position, the Department Director will contact you to follow up.

Onsite Interview

Our interview process is collaborative. We will interview you with several of the Directors and the President & CEO. This collaborative hiring process is fair while maintaining high standards as we grow to find prospective team members who fit well within our organization.
