Lisa Danielson, Project Manager - Special Initiatives, manages FIS projects related to school-site and organizational capacity-building, education collaborative development, civic engagement, and advocacy for education reform. In addition, she provides research, evaluation, reporting, and fund development support across all FIS programs. Prior to her current position, Ms. Danielson’s work focused on community-level advocacy and organizing to affect change in educational outcomes for youth. She is a former elementary school therapist and provided technical assistance to community-based organizations in the areas of organizational capacity-building and youth development programming. Ms. Danielson received her Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration (with concentrations in community organizing, planning, and nonprofit management) from the University of Southern California and a BA in psychology and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. |
