Guadalupe Miranda, Program Assistant for the Early Education and Literacy Programs,  has dedicated her professional career to children’s literature. Prior to joining Families in Schools (FIS), she worked for a non-profit literacy program providing direct services to school age children and their families in the Long Beach city area. Ms. Miranda started her career working in a private children’s center working with pre-school children.  She promoted to the elementary school level where she provided services to school staff, teachers, parents and children.  Currently, Ms. Miranda provides the administrative and program support for the Read with Me/ Lea conmigo® program and other projects related to Early Education and Family Literacy.
