Cecilia Gonzalez is the program associate for the College Preparation Programs, where she assists in promoting the college-going culture for teachers and parents. She has always had strong interests in college advocacy and community affairs. Previously she worked as a news and entertainment reporter at a local Spanish television station. She graduated from UCLA obtaining a B.A. in Chicano/a Studies and a B.A. in Spanish. While attending UCLA, she worked as a college advisor at high schools under Early Academic Outreach Program and as a tutor under BruinCorps. She plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Education.
