Going on to College (GOT College!) assists parents in understanding the importance of higher education and the academic preparation needed for their child’s success. GOT College! information helps parents understand the purpose of the California Master Plan (a choherent system for postsecondary education with defines specific roles for the UC's, Cal States, and City Community Colleges), the college going process and requirements, as well as the financial aid opportunities available for their children.

This program seeks to provide parents with the knowledge and skills needed to monitor and guide their children's education, as well as the critical role parents play as their children’s college advocate. GOT College! promotes and nurtures a college going culture in the school and in the home. Separate modules address the needs of upper elementary, middle, and high school students and their families.
