Each year Going on to College (GOT College!) organizes college and/or career conferences to families about the college going process and career preparation. The purpose of the event is to expose families to a college campus, motivate students and their parents to begin planning for college as well as providing them with financial aid information. The program agenda usually includes a college information workshop, a student panel, and a campus tour. In the past, families have also participated in science themed conferences with professionals and demonstrations.
