“Now I know that I don’t have to wait to start promoting college, and that I have to be attentive to my child’s education. Thank you for all your help and time.”
Supplemental Education Services (SES) are free tutoring services paid for by the US Department of Education for children that are attending a Second Year Program Improvement School and are considered eligible for free or reduced meal program. SES was made possible by the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001.

Parents, to make the dream of a college education come true for your child, YOU MUST:
• Tell your child that you expect him or her to graduate from high school and go on to college. • Tell your child’s teachers and counselors that you want your child to go to college. • Explore college majors and various careers with your children. • Seek out the benefits of a personalized learning environment for your child, through smaller learning communities. • Make sure your child successfully completes “A-G” college preparatory courses in high school.
