Read with Me/Lea Conmigo

Read with Me is an evidence-based, family involvement program designed to improve the  early literacy skills of infants and toddlers, preschool children, and students in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1stgrade.  The program engages families in early reading activities by sending a weekly supply of award-wining children’s books to the home complemented with family literacy workshops.  Families In Schools trains school and agency staff to manage the program and to develop effective partnerships with parents through a 2 hour training.
