
The Million Word Challenge is a county-wide literacy campaign promoting a culture of literacy at home and academic achievement at school. The initiative challenges Los Angeles county preschool through 12th grade students, to read millions of words outside of the classroom. Schools are encouraged to participate by signing up TODAY at www.millionwordchallenge.org.
