Families In Schools’ builds capacity in school staff to engage families in meaningful ways that support learning at home and at school. To effectively implement our programs, FIS provides training and technical support by leading the planning work, training on curriculum, and analyzing the feedback for future improvements. School staff and parent leaders come together to build teams of “mentors” and “parent educator,” depending on program, that facilitate all program lessons.
