College Awareness & Preparation

Preparing Our Workforce

4th-12th grade

College Awareness & Preparation programs connect schools, communities, and families to create an educational pipeline where all students are prepared to participate successfully in California’s future workforce.

FIS staff provide opportunities for parents and  their children to explore college and career options regardless of  income level, race, or ethnicity by enhancing awareness around the  importance of A-G courses, quality teaching, counseling, academic support, and parental knowledge and guidance.
