Reading Roads

Reading Roads is a family literacy academy for parents of preschool and elementary school students.  The 5 lesson curriculum guides parents in supporting their child’s literacy development at home.  Based on socio-contextual learning, each lesson connects to themes that families hold close to their hearts including family, culture, community, and celebration.  Families In Schools trains school and agency staff to deliver the curriculum with parents through a 2 day training institute.
